Westport Baptist Church
Hailed as a ‘genuine church family that worships together’, Westport Baptist Church offers both modern and traditional masses to its local community in Denver, NC. Teaching Bible truths each week requires sound that can be heard by everyone in the room – without a single echo. That’s why they came to EDC Acoustics to fulfil their unique audio needs.
Problems
The Westport Baptist Church had several speakers (all pointed in different directions) scattered around the sanctuary, resulting in a far from ideal sound experience. So much so, that it sounded like a voice was coming down a hallway when the pastor spoke.
Solutions
To overcome this challenge, we replaced all the speakers with a pair of SQ-90 speakers along with a single SS-3 for low frequency warmth. From a single location, we covered the entire floor including above and below the balcony with the internal beam steering. This results in a much more present and near field sounding system in the ambient room.
